Project Description: Hamilton Urban Core Community Health Centre (HUCCHC) was established in 1996 under the leadership of a very active advisory committee and temporarily delivered a limited range of health services from locations in the downtown Hamilton area. HUCCHC received a planning grant in 2015 to begin planning for a new capital redevelopment plan, as their current facility no longer met the CHC’s needs.In 2017, HUCCHC received approval from the Ministry of Health (MOH or the Ministry) Health Capital Investment Branch (HCIB) to purchase a new property.
Pact Engineering as the Commissioning Authority provides commissioning services for HUCCHC redevelopment and interim relocation projects. Mechanical, Controls and Electrical systems are included in this project. ntary School, occupies 43,000 sq ft. in 3 stories. With a construction value of $9.4 milion the project is expected to be completed by September 2023.
